Parents, schools face challenges of food allergies
ANAMOSA – Imagine being 5 years old and not having milk and cookies for a snack. Peanut butter sandwiches, candy bars and ice cream are also forbidden. That is what one out of 13 children face every day.

Anamosa takes to track at tough WaMaC Conference meet
VINTON — Very few leagues in the state of Iowa can boast the kind of track and field talent the WaMaC Conferences does on a consistent basis, and the Anamosa boys got an up close taste of that action Thursday, May 3, taking part in the 16-team league get-together in Vinton.
